How is this table supposed to be read? Went fishing the past two days in this area and what we saw out there really conflicted with what the tables are reading. With the absence of wind Friday afternoon and yesterday morning, I don't think that could have affected things. Yesterday it seemed the tide stopped in the morning around 8, Friday there wasn't a lick of tide in the late afternoon.

There should've been a lot of tidal movement according to that table. That's a pretty big range.

Today the high tide is at 1:06 and will fall until around midnight.

Range is just over 1ft.

Where were you? I witnessed same thing. Even had tide still coming in at 2:00 when it should have been stopped.

Keep in mind that these are tide predictions. I understand weather affects them and there was none yesterday to affect but still a prediction.

Some of these reading have +or- of 5-6 hrs at any given location. For instance the tide level at Lost Island will take 6 hrs to be achieved in Lake Mechant. And then there are days where when it doesn't move at all like the prediction because of an unknown phenomenon call " you ain't catching shite today. Go home "

Friday afternoon we fished around Lake barre(headed out about 3) and on the way out it looked like the tide had already fallen, and sure enough there was a tiny bit of movement, but not much. Yesterday we were in the area of the sulphur mine and was on a good bite from about 5:30-8, and then it seemed the tide just shut off and so did the fish.

I wasn't far from you. Saw the same. Tide was slack from about 10 to 2
