Happy Father's Day to all you Dads out there who are making a difference in your children's lives. Regardless of your political leanings.....being in your children's lives is the single most important thing you can do to make this world a better place.

So here is to all the Father's out there....today is your day!

Pfffttt…

How you people celebrate the pinnacle of patriarchal reign in our society is beyond me. It is a disgusting holiday perpetuated by a culture of rape and racist insults. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.

And for all of us childless fathers, as Bill Cosby once said - BE HAPPY!

You dads have my utmost respect.

Yet, they miss us when the shite hits the fan.

Happy Father's day to all the unappreciated until you're needed dads!

Well, you really can't truly relate to them unless you have the transformation to the female anatomy....

Your weak satire aside, there should be some concern over the large numbers of male members here that will never have a family, children they support or even productive roles in our society. Living on the internet is a poor substitute for real interpersonal relationships.

This holiday does probably produce some serious angst if they do any reflection.

My favorite story of interaction with my son. We were playing golf. He was 19 and very strong. We came up to No. 18 at Huntington. There is a huge Oak Tree in the middle of the fairway. Everyone sends their drive to the right, trying not to go out of bounds.

Me: Where ya goin' with your shot, son.
Him: To the right of that tree.
Me: Ya know, when I was your age I just hit the ball over that tree straight toward the green (which is true).
Him: OK. (He then muscled up and sent a towering drive that hit the top of the tree and dropped straight down).
Me: But ya know son. When I was your age that tree was a lot shorter.
