The wife and I brought the kids to the zoo for the day. Any suggestions for a casual kid friendly dinner place? We like sandwiches, seafood, pasta, etc etc. Thanks in advance,

Without kids in that area is easy. With? Eh.
Ba Chi Canteen? Squeal BBQ? Cowbell?

there's a houstons and a zeas on st charles ave. new orleans hamburger and seafood on st charles is also really good for kids.
new orleans hamburger and seafood has poor boys, fried seafood selections - thin catfish is great ,and free ice cream for the kids. plus a beignet dessert place in the back. very clean, bright, big tables and friendly workers. if i were bringin my kids to the zoo, i'd take them there for dinner.

There's a Reginelli's on Magazine a few blocks from the zoo. They have pizza, pasta and sandwiches.

Thanks for the suggestions. We live in SW Miss and not used to actually having choices on where to go. We wanna make the most of it.

Noodle and Pie as well if you're kids are a little adventurous.

Reginellis is kid friendly for sure. And affordable.
Cowbell as well would be another option--near River Road.
