ESPN reports that the Philadelphia 76ers have approached the Cleveland Cavaliers about a potential trade for the No. 1 pick. The Sixers reportedly are keen on Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins.

The Sixers actually have engaged the Cavs about moving to No. 1. They aren't willing to give up both the Nos. 3 and 10 picks, but a combination of No. 3 and Thaddeus Young is a possibility. And it's a great scenario for Wiggins, as well. Of the three top teams, his camp prefers the Sixers as the best possible fit.

Parker plus a pick isn't a bad deal

That's insane. The #10 pick isn't that valuable in this draft (or most drafts, for that matter). The upgrade from Randle to Wiggins is easily worth it.

The bucks are pretty dead set on parker I believe.

I agree, if that is what keeps this deal from happening than that would be very poor judgement on their part, IMO.

Thad and LeBron on the same team would be sick.

Thad
Kyrie
Lebron

All they would need is a legit 4/5.

All I know is Thad is going to speak with the GM after the draft to let them know if he will demand a trade or not. He told me of nothing going on before the draft. He would have to sign off on any trade Im pretty sure and said he will only go to a contender. Not sure he would go without Love or Lebron.

Cavs are going to take Embiid if they keep it IMO. Sixers have a pretty good shot at getting Wiggins at 3 if he's their guy.

on the flip side, they could get a piece and almost be assured of getting embiid at 3

I think Milwaukee is zeroing in on Parker thinking that Embiid is going one. Their plans might quickly change if Embiid is available at 2.

If they can get the #3, and #10 I would do it. I dont have much interest in Young.

I would do it if I'm the cavs. I would also do it if I'm the sixers. They really really want wiggins and the cavs can get whoever drops to three plus an asset or two.

There's no way they are taking Randle at 3. Parker vs. Wiggins is still debatable.

Are the Sixers interested in playing basketball for more than 2 months?

Even so, I'd take Jabari Parker and Julius Randle (if that's what he's referring to) over Andrew Wiggins without blinking.

You worked way to hard to be subtle in your self-inflating name drop and it made your post confusing.

Yep. Wouldn't be surprised if the Cavs draft Wiggins on draft night to strong arm Philly for more assets.
