all the hype leading up to that was so absurd. When it was unveiled, I was like a kid at Christmas getting socks and apples.
it has definitely changed the way Atlanta's trade-show/tween dance competition "tourists" get around downtown though. wheeeee.

Granted, in retrospect, we all got PT Barnum'd but in sort of fairness, one of the big Silicon Valley VCs said it was going to be bigger than the Internet and, by that point, the Internet had exploded into being as awesome as advertised so we were willing to suspend our skepticism a little.

yep, that's the hype i was referring to. i was like really? instead of walking we're going to be a bunch of even fatter asses zipping around on these idiotic things, running into each other and cars and bikes. BRILLIANT!

I don't know what 3D printing is. Don't know what bitcoin is. But I've been trying to learn how to chip from 20 yards out for 50 years. Still can't do it.
