You know, the 25 million dollar donation announced Friday. What is the spin on this magnanimous gift from the ultra left? It's kind of been "crickets" in the MSM. Did read where one outraged lib was angry because it would "show them in a good light."

BTW- Michael Lomax, CEO of the UNCF, asserts he doesn't care about any outrage because.....the money.....all that money!

The outrage is probably missing because there is nothing to be outraged about

But the Harry Reid Koch brothers are bad narrative doesn't hold water.

the koch brothers give a shite ton of money to all sorts of stuff, from the arts to education funds, that have nothing to do with their politics.

harry reid's histrionics about them are pathetic. he is a pathological liar and a psychopath.

also, check this out: (political donation rankings--ActBlue no. 1; Koch no. 59)

LINK

i'm sure there is something to pick apart in it, but at the very least it militates against the radical left's over-stimulated fixation on the KBs.

They will probably say that money is not enough. He should build an ivy league school for only AA's, give them all good grades, etc

Good for them, but it doesn't change my overall stance on them.

What is that?

My feelings towards them is that they, like others who support Dems or Reps, have too much influence on elections. Specifically regarding the Kochs, they are trying to elect a President who will protect their economic interests.

Overall, I think that $$$ in politics is getting out of control. Regardless if its Bloomberg or Steyer or the Kochs or Adelson.

Does anybody here really bitch that much about the Koch Brothers?

It seems like there are more threads about Harry Reid bitching about the Koch brothers than actual bitching about Koch brothers

Unlike many liberals, I don't agree with everything that unions do. I think they play a necessary role, but often overstep that role.

I am referring to their role in politics and support for Democratic candidates...

That would be where they overstep their role. For example, the CTA here in California consistently does stuff that I disagree with. However, they have so many politicians in their pocket that they mostly get their way. I would place them in the same category as the others, but feel as though they at least have somewhat of a role to play outside of politics while the others really don't.
