I always thought that place was in a crappy area.
No word on if Wayne Fontes is available in the auction :rimshot:

A judge cleared the way this week for sale of the 80,300-seat stadium for $583,000, or about a quarter cent on the dollar it cost to build in 1975 ($220 million in today's dollars) as home for the NFL's Detroit Lions.

Among the items available are pretzel warmers, a boxing ring, a soccer field, flat-screen televisions and scoreboards.

Probably just the flooring, just like all stadiums change them out.

Crazy. It would probably cost 10x more to demolish the thing.

The clear solution here is Kid Rock Thunderdome.

Seriously should film an apocalypse destruction movie there while they can

I think they should turn it into an antique mall.

interesting they have flat screens in there. they closed that stadium in early 2000s i thought. Flat screens were expensive back then.
I could be wrong tho.
