Ghana is up 1-0 on the Taeguk Warriors but Korea has been the far better team.

Jordan Ayew scored a goal off a big deflection caused by some failed clearances by the South Korea defense.

South Korea is pressing high then quickly trying to break Ghana's lines.

South Korea is a pretty decent team. Ghana's communication on defense is not very good, but their athleticism worries me in a big way.

Ghana's goalkeeper, Adam Larsen Kwarasey is awful coming off his line.

Ale Bedoya, Graham Zusi and/or Brad Davis should pound every ball into the box.

Gyan puts Ghana up 2-0 after a sloppy giveaway from Korea. Reminiscent of his goal against us in South Africa.

Ghana ripped them a new a-hole. They were toying with them

In the first half South Korea was the superior team despite the 2-0 deficit.

The second half of friendlies are terrible for scouting teams once the mass substitutions start.

That board is all kinds of hilarious.

Ghanians post on a message board in a weird formal dialect, while they probably speak pidgin or creole English at home.

Half of them are totally disregarding America as a serious threat, predicting a 4-0 victory.

They also critically eviscerate Nigeria like they are the equivalent of Honduras, yet Nigeria dominated a favored Ghana at the last African Cup of Nations.

I'm quite astonished at how active that board is. I'll give them props for that.

If he thinks our fullbacks are weak what are his

We all watched USA vs. Honduras or USA vs. Guatemala.

Which fullbacks do the USA have?? The mediocre Bundesliga based ones with below average talent who have never done anything of note outside of that controlled environment and have always failed in the Americas??   Or the makeshift ones without any real quality?

The world cup is not in Germany...

If they think our defense is weak then theirs is even worse.

We will attack them all day!

They have a left back, center-back and right back problem... Especially in a place like Brazil  When the lights come on the stars always shine!!

Good to know that Ghana has TNBhoy level of r-tard posters just like we do. The comments about our backs, especially given how good fab is, made me LOL. My emphasis added to the above.

Question for all the talent and skill gurus...

After watching the U.S. dismantle our brothers from Nigeria (African Champs) do you still think talent is more important than coaching?

These guys have been coached well and you can see it in their style of play. This is not the USA team of old. I predict they will beat either Germany or Portugal. Contrary to the what the naysayers are saying...I see them with a realistic chance of making it out of the group.

Now as for my beloved Black Stars...how much have we improved since our last friendly? And are we paying attention to the little details needed to win our first match (and the rest of our games) so that we can ultimately advance in our group?

We shall soon find out...

This guy gets it. But he's getting assaulted.

This TOTALLY deserves its own thread. No joke. Someone please make it.

Our in-game tactics and field awareness will be key. I grant that Klinsmann has remade the US team into a confident cohesive unit going into the Ghana game. At a minimum I want the US especially the defensive unit, back on their heels thinking about going up against Asamoah Gyan circa 2014 scoring goals, or Dede running someone down, or KPB showing the German-Americans that he's blazed a trail they are following - they cannot be as free and as confident on the ball as my Nigerian cousins made them feel yesterday.

I laughed at that comment about the fullbacks too.

Because, the Tunisian League is a factory for producing top quality international defenders like Espérance Sportive de Tunis star Harrison Afful.
