What was your worst vacation experience?

My uncle organized a golfing trip in myrtle beach and it was a disaster. Middle of July, terrible hotel, I got some duck fever illness. frick myrtle beach

Got roped into going to Gatlinburg with my aunt, uncle, and grandparents back in the early 90's. Dollywood, riding around all day looking at nothing, wagon rides, etc.

Got food poisoning once in Boca Raton.
frick that sucked. Couldn't do anything for the 3 days we were there. We went to Miami after that for 4 days and I was fine health wise, but I never saw anything in Boca but the inside of my badass hotel room and the toilet area where I slept for the first 24 hours. And I hate Miami. Even though I felt better, Miami is one of my least favorite places I've ever been on vacation.

Left late one Friday heading to destin. Got shot at in New Orleans east. Had bullet holes in my brand new car. Got a speeding ticket in Mississippi . Lost a few grand at the casino in Biloxi. Got to destin late passed to exhaustion . Woke up late that morning refreshed and couldn't wait to go wash it away in the gulf. Jumped in the water and wrestled with a mana war jellyfish as soon as I got confortable. Left the next day feeling like I needed a vacation.

Gatlinburg is fun in the winter and you get a 20 friends to split a giant badass cabin with 200 flat screens and 3 hot tubs and you just never leave the place.
City itself is hilariously boring and outdated.

spring break in college
we would always go to Red River, NM for the week to go skiing and we were too poor to pay for a hotel room the night before we arrived, so we slept in our car in the parking lot of a hotel...
...it got cold, really freaking cold that night. We didn't want to turn the car on though for heat because we didn't want to waste gas and it would have cost like $15/person to get a hotel room, but we were just too poor
