First off, he's gotten bigger. He's been reported to be at 219lbs. Great weight. And im sure people are gonna ask "did he lose any speed?" And the answer is.... Hell no.

Official camp measurements: 5'-10-3/4" / 214# with 40 times of 4.40 and 4.35

Reportedly ran the fastest time at the camp, with a 4.35.

Pretty damn awesome! He's something special IMHO. Hope he becomes a Tiger and damn sure don't want to face him at a SEC foe.

and thanks for the info

Will get dropped in the rankings for no reason other than "Not considering Alabama".

Our backfield is gonna be so fricking nasty with Guice, Fournette, Williams, and Brossette at running back

I know the kid is fast and I am very happy that he wants to be a Tiger. But, 4.35 and weighing 219. Come on man. Why is it these kids run so fast in high school and when they get to the NFL combines they shrink, aren't as strong of nearly as fast. And this is not a slight to this young man. I am speaking in general. Truth is he is one of the best running back prospects since, Leonard F. There I said it.

This might be a hand timed 40. But still would be like a 4.46 or so still pretty fast

I told yall I remember him being listed at 195, then when updated, it went to 219. The fact that he can still run a hand timed 4.35 is proof of his speed. Dude has some serious burst.

When he gets in a strength training program at LSU, I hope they can tailor his regiment to getting faster. Get him down to about 210 and he could possibly be even faster

Guice is a back who will be ready to compete for early playing time when he gets to the next level. He has a compact frame and he runs with very good balance. He knows how to avoid the big hit and he is a back who will grind it our four quarters and move the chains. His breakway speed is not a strength, but he flashes quickness to the hole, and he can get to the perimeter. He is a back that can carry an offense. - Chad Simmons Strengths Balance Power Tackle-Breaking Ability To Improve Breakaway Speed

The experts over at Scout.com seem to think that his breakaway speed is suspect, but if he runs a sub 4.5 40 one would think that his breakaway speed would have to be at the very least, decent.

He's already been dropped because of not going to events. Guy was a top five back and got moved all the way to ten. It's almost as disrespectful as Quinn's ranking from last year. Well, at least I know he's the best back this year. Can match his speed, power, agility, and catching ability against any back ahead of him.

Kid still has another year of high school ball to play...that could be really scary.

It's obviously unofficial and a stretch, but anything under 4.5 is elite at his size.

His measurables from the camp were 5'-10-3/4" / 214# with 40 times of 4.40 and 4.35

And even if it was hand times, it was hand timed from our coaching staff, fastest time out of everyone there, and he was sub 4.40 on both attempts. Hand time or not, the dude is fast. Period.
