Amazon has it for $35. For that price it can't be that bad can it.

Yeah that's where I ordered from. I figured I might as well give it a shot for the price

I owned a S&W knife for a while. It was pretty heavy and didn't hold an edge very well. If you look at the grade of steel it is a cheap chinese grade.

But it was still pretty solid.

I had a Sand W skinning knife. It was a gift. It was cheap but it was my favorite knife for years. Held a great edge up until the day I lost my hunting pack with it in the pocket.

Have heard bad review about most of them. I guess I just got lucky.

I have a small S&W pocket knife I bought in the late 90's. Back then they actually used decent steel and I still have it though I don't carry it anymore.

Picked up a 522 Presidio Ultra today just for the hell of it though.

I have an S&W boot knife I got for about $20, new. I have not subjected it to heavy use, but it still holds its edge and seems sturdily contructed - obviously it has exceeded my expectations by several orders of magnitude.
