One of them committed Genocide on an entire village in Afghanistan. Some news crew was just there, after it has been resettled, and those people that were interviewed are pretty scared he'll be back....

They're all in, and your answer is no. They would be fine with him getting rid of everyone not on the progressive bandwagon. Their entire life has been a lie and they can not admit they were duped. As a result they take comfort in the pop culture/MSM pervasive narrative and trumpet the propaganda. This guy is their 'savior'.

Chris Matthews on MSNBC is one of Obama's biggest cheerleaders and he seems very put off by the trade. So I would say the answer to your question is yes. Obama owns the actions of those 5 guys, from here forward.

Um... no. Everyone understands that's a realistic possibility, and the deal is in the past tense. They should have already turned on him over the initial trade but they didn't. He's pretty much safe no matter what he does.

I knew they would spin the release but an attack led by one of these guys that costs American lives....how do you spin that? Talk about coming off as zero fricks given about your own people if you don't point the finger squarely at Obama.

They don't have to spin. That's my thoughts on it, anyway. The American people -already- know it's a realistic possibility that they could/will kill more. I think the perception is that it's even likely they will kill, if not Americans then whoever else.

Our government isn't responsible for evil people doing evil things as individual. The outrage should have already happened because we set them free to commit those acts.

For decades and decades TV commercials, sitcoms, music, news, social medias, the internet and every other form of mass expression have set the stage.

For this country to have an -honest- re-self-evaluation it will take something SEVERE. Clearly much worse than 9-11 :( It's amazing how absorbed into our own little worlds we've allowed ourselves to become.

This is my fear. Unfortunately, this is true. Sooner or later, someone is gonna hit the reset button. I hope we return to the principles and standards that made this country great. If we do, we will once again find ourselves at the apex. Hopefully our descendants will learn, but history says they will not.

What I care about happening is both sides of our great country's people being equally represented on tv etc because that's what OUR people want (not federally mandated). What I want is for it to stop being "wrong" to have a contrary opinion. I want respect to start taking place from anyone on the left. I'm not excusing people on the right for their sins, of course. I'm tired of a smug attitude and a self righteousness with not dressing, and sounding, and talking, and feeling the same way as a hipster. That sounds like a sophomoric few statements but it really does go that deep. Tolerance seems utterly one sided. That exists because the media controls perception SO well.

You can't get outraged over a "possibility". If any of those dudes are proven to have committed a terroristic act against the US in the future, you'll see outrage. And Obama will never live it down.

Let's just say I hope you're right, but respectfully disagree.... no, let's say I hope you never have to be right.

The truly sad part of the development of the last 10 years has been the stifling of real debate. With social media and the internet, the distribution of information should be limitless. People should be able to find access to the truth. You would think this would have provided the ultimate level of oversight to the media. Amazing how a combined narrative will cloud common sense.

One of these guys attacking America would be very good for the Republican Party.

Would FOX News and the right wing politicos fume if one of the hundreds of prisoners from Gitmo that Bush released was proven to be the mastermind of a terrorist attack on Americans at home or abroad in the next 2 years?
