Does anyone have their lawn regularly (monthly) sprayed and what company does the OB recommend? I am having issues with crab grass taking over my lawn and need help. I have fought the fight, but I am getting beat. I need a professional to help me with this problem.

We use True Green. They treat weeds and ants. Spray 8-9 times a year. Of course, they do fertilizer and nutrients too.

Stops the clover patches very well. Two of us on a corner use it and you can really tell the difference with clovers.

you gotta put the crab grass poison down in February or so, too late now.

I have emailed Try-Green and am waiting to hear back now. LeastBay, that news is a kick to the midsection. I hate the crabgrass. This is the first year I have this issue.

Yep....the best treatment for crabgrass is to hit your lawn with a pre-emergent. Fighting an uphill battle now.

What kind of grass do you have? You can spray it yourself for much cheaper than hiring a company to spray the same stuff.

My builder obviously put the cheapest grass on the lot when he built the house. I think it is Bermuda grass. It is very thin and has very skinny sprouts. If I were to seed it with centipede grass this fall will the centipede take over and kill out any Bermuda?

If its burmuda just spray msma on it, u can get it at most any co-op. Msma will kill crabgrass and most grassy weeds. It can stunt your burmuda but be patient in about 2 weeks it will come right back. Trust me on this, been using it for years
