My brother just purchased an Xbox One from someone on craigslist, it already has some full games downloaded on it.

Is there anyway he can create his own Xbox Live Gamertag, wipe all other accounts on it and keep the downloaded titles?

I tried to google but I couldn't really get a specific answer.

If you've got the password to log in, you could pay a few bucks to just change the gamer tag. Then update all of the personal information to your own.

Yes

they will work, no saves, unlocked items will be there. but yes they work.

xbone i sold, i deleted the profile and info, and he is able to play cod:ghosts, BF4, and ryse. i just messaged him to make sure, and he said all work.

He was also able to play the watch dogs demo we were testing.

Online ? Thought they were tied to your gamertag to prevent that

if that was the case, I wouldn't be able to log into my GT at a my buddies house and play my acct at his house.

You purchased the right to download it.

Now, here's tricky part... Since (let's just say that the software is "like" a cd) and it's tied to that dudes gamer account, which was downloaded to HIS xbone, could the games on this system become unplayable if he tries to download them again? Say, for a friend one THEIR xbone?

My old Call of Duty games and halo 3 work on all accounts on my 360 not just the gamertag that bought them.
