And I get to the "top 25 greatest country songs of all time"

Start reading. Everything looks good. I walk the line is #1. Ya got you some patsy cline and George jones on the list.

And then I get to #24... Taylor swift - mean

Oh I agree boogie. Just caught me off guard. That song was from 2010...the closest year to that was 1987. And it was a George strait song. George and Taylor each had one song in their list

but a search for rolling Stone lists turned up this Gem

Down to Seeds and Stems again Blues

Damn I loved that album (Live from deep in the heart of Texas), but at the time it was more hippie-southern rock, surely not on any Country radio station.
