Thoughts? Will mostly be used just for cruising around the property.

Gas 100%. I had an electric for work for years...and the batteries and if they were charged or held there charge or if they would die in the middle of a skeet shoot was a PITA.

Mine is electric and as long as you keep battery cell water right and keep post clean they're fine. Set of batteries last bout 7 years and u don't have to worry about havin gas.

If you are going stock with electric, figure about 90 minute run time in optimal situation.

Gas for sure.
I had electric. Was great for sneaking into the woods before sunrise because it was so stealthy. Problem is, when the batteries go out be prepared for hours of down time while they recharge. Plus I had to limp that bitch for miles back to camp one cold morning when they crapped out on me.

Have used electric (48 v) for years, hunting and shooting clays.
I've never even come close to having the batteries die. Of course I keep 'em charged, and replace 'em every six years or so.
The few people I know with gasoline carts seem to like them OK. They seem to replace//repair clutches and rebuild carbs about as often as I change batteries.
There's no way I'd switch to gas.
