How good is turn?

I'm thinking about catching up with this on AMC.com, is it good, worth watching I know the season finale is coming up pretty soon.

The show itself is just ok, but there isn't much choice for Revolutionary War Historical Fiction, so if the subject matter interests you, you should check it out.

I like it alot, and I'm not a history buff or anything. It's the best show to come from AMC in a long time, that's for sure

It's pretty good. Three things:
75% of the scenes are shot in total darkness, so don't try and watch it during the day.
The CGI is horrendous, worst on major television.
I don't feel like it is building to very much. I've watched every episode, and enjoyed it generally, but I have no concept of what is coming or what I'm looking forward to.

It is not that bad....that's a pretty big overstatement.
I've really enjoyed it. There was quite a bit of building the first half of the season and the second half has taken off a good bit. I'll definitely keep watching.

I haven't seen Once, but literally every scene on the water is reminiscent of a local theater production with a painting of a large ship on the water in the background. It's more likely to make you chuckle than groan though.

Okay, I thought by your "long time" comment you were referencing Breaking Bad et al. as shows not worth much. That was still pretty recent.

The Pilot for Halt and Catch Fire was pretty entertaining, IMO.

The water scenes are laughably bad. I'm not sure there is another major show that could compete with it.

My opinion is that it started a bit slow, and then got pretty good, and then hit snooze again. Could just be my mood when watching though.
