Word around NFL is that when Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson get new deals next year, they will come in between $24-$25 million per year.

Luck shows promise as being a team carrying franchise qb.

Wilson does not.

The way the market's going. It's funny that it will eventually seem like we got Drew for cheap

Wilson is more deserving than Kaepernick of big money at least

Only because of a Superbowl ring. Neither actually deserve money.

Time for the NFL to make a max salary for qb, possibly somehow separate it from the overall cap somehow.

Seriously. If there's anyone who's excited about the Kaep deal it's got to be Wilson.

Maybe the salary cap doesn't apply to west coast teams.

This will pull the Seahawks back to reality. They won't lose Wilson or there top 3-4 guys. But the 5-10 ranged guys (ranking starters 1 to 22) will be able to get more money elsewhere.

And that's why the NFL sucks. You should be able to pay the guys you draft however much you want to pay them. Have a salary cap for players that just want to test the free agent market.

Everybody equal crap is stupid and makes for a watered down quality league
