What could it possibly mean? See you down in Arizona Bay?

After a relatively quiet period of seismic activity in the Los Angeles area, the last five months have been marked by five earthquakes larger than 4.0. That hasn't occurred since 1994, the year of the destructive Northridge earthquake that produced 53 such temblors.

it means nothing. the fault has moved and will continue to move about as fast as fingernails grow. You dont feel it all the time because, get this, the rocks will bend a little before they move. and when they do move it usually happens in clusters. this is called elastic rebound.

so you have periods where you dont feel it move and peroids when you do.

or you could just blame the gays or the oil companies, or Bush, or whatever.

My parents died this year so I'm selling their home overlooking the ocean. Hope it doesn't fall into the Pacific before I move it.
