I am just gonna bring up some points here.
-If we still have aluminum bats, we are beating teams as bad as we did NSU (27-0)
-The NCAA loves to send LSU and some other SEC teams very hard regionals
-We are still trying to play GEAUXRILLA Ball with these new bats, while other teams have switched to small ball and hitting more balls on the ground.
We really need to stop hitting long fly balls, and CPM NEEDS TO HAVE EVERY PITCHER ON A SHORT LEASH NO MATTER WHAT.

Although this is true...look how many balls were caught within 20' of the fence...now they say these new baseballs that will be used could put 15-20' onto a fly ball so those id considered off the wall or gone...i think if we have the majority of our underclassmen stay we will be just fine

This is the point he's trying to make. We're trying to hit the ball 8 miles and these balls turn those shots into outs. So why does every kid keep trying?

You'd have thought that after UCLA they would have learned, but no.

That first Stony Brook game ruined the post-season success of this program. Now the kids think they can hit back to back to back any time they want and don't know how to mount a comeback against these weenieball teams anymore.

Right. The kids weren't trying to go yard every single swing after Houston tied the game.

You don't notice that teams with good staffs like Houston and UCLA play rope-a-dope with us because they know the balls aren't leaving the yard but we don't?

Gorilla ball, have you seen how many times we've bunted with no outs? Lol

CPM needs to fix that shite, got a few more grays this year watching that. If dudes are on a hot steak please don't make them bunt a guy over.

This is indisputable. UH outfielders were laughing each inning and they jogged off.

I don't think you should stop swinging for the fence just because the balls and bats are rigged. It's the lack of discipline in tough situations that frustrates me. All we needed was one run, and everybody decided to play HeroBall.

You can't change the stripes on a tiger (figuratively speaking), but when it was 4-4, you had to play with more common sense. If he gives you something you can rip into the outfield for a base hit, do it. Don't try to hit the ball 900 feet. Manufacture a run. You only need one.

I don't think you should do this in the first inning or maybe even in the middle of a ball game if that's not who you are. But too much was on the line to go caveman there.

Weenieball sucks, but that's what works in college baseball these days.

Oh, the "you can't criticize anybody because you don't have any authority" crowd.

I bet you probably say this here and then demand that Obama get impeached.
