I sucked it up and drove to David's Tiger Express in Central, you can't beat it.

Don't get me wrong.. Mobile Station will always have a soft spot in my heart.. but they were a huge pain when Jones and I were in Central last weekend.
They don't have a line for customers and the people making the plates don't remain in a line behind the food. They're all doing everything. They don't label boxes so we watched THREE people's food get given away to other people and have to be remade. They took 5 minutes to find our boxes of food because they were made by a random employee and not labeled.

You must be kidding.
The food is overpriced relative to quality, and it just does not taste good. The owner, his wife, and son are all very rude to customers. Pay FIVE DOLLARS for a plain biscuit and orange juice, tell the owners son "thanks, have a good day" only for him to slam the register shut and stare at me without a response.

My go-to's in that area are Thai Pepper's lunch buffet, La Morenita (best authentic Mexican in town, IMO), El Rio Grande.

I am only talking about the food, I've never had anything there that I didn't love. Today I got 3 pieces of fried chicken, mac & cheese, green beans and mashed potatoes all for $9.35.
I will however completely agree about the owners. Mobil was my first job as a floor boy and they are some of the rudest/most inconsiderate people I have ever met. None of them were working today, thank God.
