Getting stationed at the Coast Guard base in New Orleans east. Y'all know of anything good over that way? 1200 and under?

I'm so fricking stoked to be coming back south.

You can find something in the East for $500 a month probably...

Slidell wouldn't be a bad spot. Just hop across the Frank Davis Naturally N'awlins Twin Span.

Uptown, warehouse district, bywater-marigny are all slam dunks. Mid-city and lower garden district are good too but vary from block to block

Might find a sublet in the Warehouse District. Other than that, I'd suggest Metairie or Kenner. Housing has gone up in NOLA recently.

I'm not stupid... Haha. I've been going to New Orleans all my life. Just never lived there... Trying to get me killed or something?

Where is this at? I'm curious as to how much they're asking for it.
