Doesn't time prove that Pat is usually right about most things?

I like when John says, "Wrong!" and then states the 'correct' position.

I guess that's what drew me to this board, it reminded me of that show.

Not just that. He knows his business and has been sounding warnings for a long time.

He was old-looking when he was young. He has finally reached an age that matches his looks. Lol.

And he is usually right.

IMO: He would have been the greatest president ever. He was a no nonsense straight shooter. He was a threat to the left because he appealed to the union vote.

They new this so he was attacked as anti-Semitic. That was the end of his presidential aspirations.

I agree that Buchanan has been unfairly smeared with respect the Jews, but are you implying that the right has never accused him of being anti-Semitic?

Buchanan always nails it...tells the truth. That's why he's an easy target for the Dems-agogues. Whether it's about Jews, Blacks or Hispanics. When he said that (referring to Blacks) "we've lost a generation"...I knew that was the end of his political viability.

The lie-based success of the Progs will ensure their demise. Taking a lot of good folk down with em', though.

Live and learn.

The Republican establishment has about as much use for Buchanan as it does for Ron Paul. which is why he never got the nomination. When he was writing columns eviscerating W after he invaded Iraq, it was the Republicans who turned on him, not the Democrats. Bill Kristol even said that he would vote for the Democratic nominee if Buchanan were to ever somehow win the Republican nomination. On domestic policy, Buchanan opposes every single thing the Democrats stand for, so why would anyone expect any liberal to support him ion that area? If they did that, the would be conservatives, not liberals.
