Gang Related Season One

Anyone else catch this show?
Tonight was episode two and I have enjoyed both episodes so far.
It's definitely an easy watch now that nothing else is on during the summer.

Oh, and the lead is smoking hot. There's a hot female cop on the gang task force for you fellas, too. She's pretty bad arse. And a cute DA. Also features Terry O'Quinn (John Locke from LOST).

I think we were posting at the same time.
I did search for a thread on it but I couldn't find one.
This show isn't "The Wire" or "The Shield" by any stretch but I like the premise and it's not like anything else is on right now.
And I think Capt. Chapel (Terry O'Quinn) is dirty somehow.

I was thinking it's a poor man's The Shield, and I'll stick with it through 2 episodes. And I agree, the captain is probably not squeeky clean. That angle would make sense considering the actor played John Locke in Lost. He's a perfect actor to play a character who walks the line between bad and good.

This was actually pretty fun show. The storyline is building well.
