Has anyone heard anything about this? I saw on a different message board that it has been done, was a success, and an announcement is imminent.

EXXI has been a longer term hold for me. It has been an interesting ride, but I do beleive it is a very good stock pick. I like their tangible book value per share, but also understand how fragile this valuation is with an energy company.

EXXI is just getting clobbered today. 2nd time since their acquisition. It's really been a volatile stock when it never used to be.

I bought more EXXI within a penny of today's low. I think it's p/b can't be higher than 1.2 now.

I bought more EXXI today. Anyone down there have any insight in to what's going on with them in the Gulf right now? I had thought some of y'all worked in this industry. Not looking for inside stuff, just big picture. Seems to me this is a cheap company for anyone with patience.

To me this continues to look like a very decent long term opportunity. The market was very unforgiving of their acquisition for reasons that don't seem to make much common sense, and yesterday it seems the market listened to only parts of the conference call. The bad parts.
