I am going down to Grand Isle with a bunch friends for the Tarpon Rode for the first time, any advice on the best place to look for a house?

I got every year, as mentioned above, stay east as possible, no traffic, but u can always go ride in it if thats your type of thing........
plan on a case a day in beer, and bring alot of ice. never once have I brought a fishing pole.

We used to always be able to find a camp on the beach, but it was always from someone who knew someone who knew someone. Depends on what you plan to do, but excellent advice on staying east. We always fished and would ride down to the tent on Saturday. Takes over an hour to drive down 5 miles.

Try the ditch on the side of LA 1 or the back of a pickup truck. That's where I see people sleeping every Tarpon Sunday morning as I leave the Isle.
