Is Devin White a lock for LSU

He is visiting Nebraska on June 7th. I would assume he is a lock for LSU.
I like going into your state to recruit to get some talented players that don't end up at LSU. So much talent in your state.

Yes he's a lock. Still good that he's visiting you guys, he's doing it out of respect for the Nebraska program.

The only way Bama doesn't get number 1 signing class for the 5th year in a row is if us and one other school can beat then this year.

I wouldn't quite say that. My family bleeds purple and gold and every cousin I have that have been offered at ,LSU have gone. Period. Loyalty is what it is . We have and maintain it. Anything else is unacceptable. Same can be said of my son. If he is so blessed you lock it down as a LOCK. Pretty sure the only thing that keeps us from LSU are acts of God

I never use the term lock.
I would say that he is very high on LSU at this point in time though.

And I will say the same for my future son. He will be an LSU lock. However, that's a future duckie problem.

As a few others have pointed out, no kid is a lock to any team, but from what I've seen, devin is a very very heavy lean to lsu.

Its all their recruiting services, so why would they not get number 1?
Coaches like Les are too far away to have coffee and breakfast and talk about recruits. It would be useless anyway because these services I think spend a lot of time figuring how to keep bama at the top.

Having seen nearly all his games the past 2 seasons, I personally think at the college level he projects better as a LB than a RB. Yes, he's big (and getting bigger as he's now around 240#) and fast. OTOH, at this point that's all he has as a RB. Will that translate into being a RB at a major college?? I doubt it, but that's just my opinion. As a LB, he likes to hit and hits well. I think he could be a special LB. His father is 6' 6" so there's the possibility his might put on more heighth and end up at a different position entirely at the college level.
As far as an LSU "lock," I've not heard anything locally to indicate that he's definitely bound for LSU. Heck, he's only 16 years old! I don't know many 16 year old kids who know w/o a doubt their plans after high school. Having said that, I'm hoping he ends up at LSU. His local coaches are supportive of LSU, as well. I'll as Devin next time I see him.
