Watching that mountain lion take down that mule deer got me to thinking.

A buddy and me were having a conversation one time, and he made the comment that there isn't a dog alive that he couldn't kill with his bare hands. I told him that if a pit that wanted to kill him got after him, he'd stand no chance.

He said he'd remain calm, find the dogs throat, and commence to crushing it's windpipe.

Thoughts? Who wins? A former pothead/now tri-athlete, or a really bad pit pull?

No dog is stronger than I. I may get fricked up by a pitbull but i can pick it up and slam it repeatedly.

Except maybe one of those police dogs...

I'm pretty sure your standard adult could fend this thing off, weighing in at a whopping 38 lbs.

My brother had one like that. It was a cute dog, if you're into pit bulls. Then one day it bit a little girl on the leg. He is fairly sure she would have been mauled, but she was able to hide under a car after the initial bite.

He put the dog down the next day.

She's lucky. He did the right thing.

It's called a question, you retard of a fricking Bama grad. A hypothetical situation, to which I'd like to illicit opinions.

Hypothetically - that means I do not plan on staging a fight pitting my good friend, a former drug addict, but now, a super healthy and fit male, against a beastly animal trained to kill - rather, which is to say, in the unlikely event my friend was attacked by such a beast, would the beast kill, mortally wound, or otherwise frick him up, or would my friend be able to remain calm, grab the dog by the windpipe, crush it, thus killing the dog.

Dat's wut da fuq dis is.

I think a moderately in shape and healthy male could kill a pit bull without weapons if he had time to anticipate the attack and formulate his response and was willing to take the potentially serious injury that would accompany it.

In sum, I think you're both wrong. A pit that wants to kill a grown man is rarely successful. A black bear that wants to harm a grown man is rarely successful in causing serious injury or death. If you fight, you'll probably win, but at some cost to yourself.

I'd kill a pit easily. It wouldn't stand a prayer. I'm not afraid of a damn dog.
