For online TD users? Anyone have stats on this? Currently there are over 3300 online now.

Threads like this are a result of the creation of separation of the Tech Board, Outdoor Board, Movie/TV Board, Political Talk, Money Talk and Food and Drink Board.

I don't blame you. I blame society.

I'm only on TD when I'm being paid to do so. I would imagine most people are on during work/school hours.

So if my work computer is online but not logged into TD then it will show as a user online. Can't be.

if I lurk from a different computer, it doesn't show me on line, where as if I lurk from mine it does, the admins know the IPO, or whatever it's called from the computer you set up your account with, I think that's one way to try and screen alters
ETA: I should say, that's what I think, I'm not a big computer geek

If your browser is not open or doesn't have TD.com open in a tab, then it ain't gonna show you online.

I think that's kind of saying the same thing, but, as I said, I'm no technogoob. But when I lurk from a different computer, it doesn't show me to be logged in.
