I always bought my beer in Louisiana before going to Destin because I thought that was true.

I don't think they do. But some states definitely do.

if they don't, it certainly used to be a strong myth...years ago, I bought many, many cases of beer in alabama on the way to spring break....

How could it have? Different beers have different alcohol contents, often depending on the style of beer.

Florida has no ABV limits except that spirits over 76.5% alcohol are illegal. Local craft brews over 11-12% ABV are not uncommon.

Florida doesn't sell 40s.....that's the only odd beer law I know of in this state.

And some counties have weird hours they sell alcohol, but that's cause of the gay arse religious folks down here

I always heard that and not sure if it's true or not. I do know that some states (Kansas for one) can only sell beer up to a certain alcohol content (3 or 4 percent ABV) in convenience stores and grocery stores and sell the higher alcohol content beer in package stores.
