Was told this board would be better suited for this question...

I got a buddy of mine in the oilfields in Texas. He wants to move back to Louisiana. He asked me a question about work In the Tuscaloosa shale. I don't know anything about the oilfield so in asking the questions here.

Just wondering how much they got going on. Completions work. Frac and wireline

I haven't seen a lot going on in the cenla or natchez areas...lot of leasing, but not much drilling...

might be better to target the haynesville shale gas play in north western LA...

Several of my clients are drilling in North East Texas. Just a quick drive over from the Shreveport area.
