Bowl games have become a joke.
I remember the days when a bowl invite meant something.
Now? In order to pacify the tit babies who were .500 in bad conferences, your conference just goes out and creates a bowl game.

It matters to the kids that get to go to a bowl game. They know it doesn't mean anything. Just shut up and enjoy the extra football.

But KickDouche was a stud in college. Played in multiple big time bowl games. He's on a much higher level than those mid-major kids playing in these lowly bowls.

You are full of crap. After all the bowl agreements / tie ins were filled, the remaining slots were supposed to be filled with teams with the best record. It was the AD's from the power conferences that cried foul because their .500 teams were being passed over for smaller schools with better records. Now teams are only required to have a .500 record to be bowl eligible.
However, I do agree that there are too many bowl games. Most teams lose money when they send their teams to a bowl game.

Whatever you say Captain Clueless. Sun Belt Commissioner Karl Benson has been actively pursuing additional bowls since taking office. He has admitted this publicly. In fact, he said so this morning.
As for the comments on the AD's of the Big 5....
You would have to be an absolute moron to believe what you say to be true. TV networks were behind the push to gather more of the Big 5 schools. It means larger viewership, meaning more money.
