Just watched Don Jon on Netflix

1st of all...is JGL addicted to porn?
2nd...I've seen Julianne Moore as this role before and I still don't buy her as any kind of love interest
Put it like this...If I had decided to take a night course and "Local College X" and she approached me after a few weeks with a present...especially a 1970's porno I'd be terrified she was a stalker and ask to switch classes.
3rd...does no one know to communicate about their sex life?? If I scored a chick as hot as Scarlett AND I was forced to wait that long after having JGL's type of lifestyle the movie portrayed, you best believe if the first time wasn't up to my standards, I'm discussing and fixing it.
4th...I'm supposed to believe JGL's character watches that much porn on his laptop and doesn't know how to clear his history?
This was a pretty entertaining film but man these things drove me nuts

I watched it a few days ago myself. Was a fairly entertaining flick but the end fizzled.

She gives me such a weird chubby. My crazy radar prob would've been going off as well though.

Seems like Scarlett is pretty obviously some disgustingly sheltered wanna-be rich snob. Don't think she cares much to have many "discussions" (see the "talk" about cleaning JGL's place).

Yea I thought that part was pretty dumb. At the same time, I watch porn and don't clear my history on the reg, but only because I don't think I'm dating a crazy biatch who will go searching for it.
I thought it was pretty good. The part when he talks about prons switching to a shot of the dude right as you're getting your vinegar stroke had me dying. That is THE WORST!

I really like him, but the movie completely grossed me out. And all of the characters were like cliche caricatures. He's not a very good writer.

I just finished watching Don Jon and this was hands down my least favorite role he has played. And why can't Julianne Moore put some lipgloss on? I just watched her in something else on Netflix this weekend and her pasty wrinkly lips are so ugly and distracting. I hope I never see JGL play the role of a jersey dbag ever again.
eta: I watched What Maisie Knew yesterday and Julianne Moore was in it prancing her wrinkly lips around. BUT I will say, I liked her and this movie so much better than Don Jon.

I just watched it for the first time earlier this week. Very odd film. I I agree with you on Julianne Moore, I'm just not buying that relationship. That was the worst part of the film for me.

i dont clear my history. why would i? it's my laptop and no one else uses it.
