My favorite Civil War movie. Only problem is the Matthew Broderick was not right for that part. I couldn't seem to get Ferris Buller out of my head.

Sounds track is amazing. One of my fav movies ever. Ending battle scene cinematography is top 5 of alltime (for me).

I root for the south in every civil war movie I've ever seen.
I admit it.

Love the movie. I feel the same way ab Broderick. Didn't feel quite right of a part for him.

Actually, I thought Broderick was perfect. He played an emotionally torn individual perfectly, and the scene where he is shot dead and all the men who had once hated him but now loved and respected him just breaks my heart.

Al the feels.....

The scene where they're going into battle knowing they're going to meet their maker. Denzel's speech there gets me every time.
