Anyone else fishing the Grand Isle/Elmers Island area this weekend?

I'm planning on surf fishing Monday and taking off Wednesday to go again.
New moon is Thursday so there should be good tidal movement over the next few days. Wind seems to have laid down a bit from weather reports...5-7mph out of the S to SE. I'm a little concerned about how steady the barometric pressure has been I'd rather see it falling or rising....as long as it's not rising too high.
I'm hearing that the big trout are starting to move out to the beaches. What's everyone else hearing?

Fishing elmers surf monday morning, assuming the wind isnt bad, from the beach.

Went that way today. The water at Elmer's was very dirty. Gave Grand Isle a shot, water was good, but a little rough. I saw some nice fish caught. Good Luck.

I fished the bridge last night. Not 1 speck to be seen or a red.got a 10lb drum and about 60 small white trout. Water was real dirty. Be careful, coast guard pulled over every boat that came by starting around evening time until late into the night.

I'm off wednesday. I plan to go down and hit the side of the road. Tide looks real good.
