NOT regarding the trade for him.

I can't understand why he is thought so highly of. He's a VERY good point guard, but so are about 15-20 other guys out there. I wouldn't be opposed to moving Jrue out of here if it would help in dealing Gordon for a 3 or 5. Its really just not a PG dominated league regardless of what people say. Miami is about to win their 3rd with Chalmers, child please.

Just call up Pierre and bring in a FA, then focus on the glaring holes that are our team.

no way

Holiday is one of two untradeables. We just got semi-trade raped a year ago to get this guy, we ain't shipping him out for some so-so SF.

No we didn't. Nerlens Noel and Doug McDermott for Jrue? I'd do that deal all day. Nerlens has serious knee issues and may not last long as a pro. He's very boom or bust. And Dougie Fresh will struggle as a defender in this league. Wally Szerbiack (sp?) 2.0 IMO

I'm willing to take that chance. I would prefer adding Noel and letting Jrue sit, then throw in the 10th pick this year. It really was just an ill-advised move, it happens though, its all good. Just have to bounce back

young All Star PG making $11 mil a year, great game manager, above average shooter, good passer, above average defender in a conference where you have to guard CP3, Russell Westbrook, Tony Parker, Damian Lillard, and Steph Curry

na I say we keep him

What is with people who want to blow up our fricking team after seeing less than a season's worth of work between our top 5 players?

Sure guy, let's trade away a recent allstar pg and replace him with a guy who was stuck in the d-league all last year.

And you're right, a good PG is unnecessary in this league. Tony Parker isn't about to lead his team to back to back finals appearances.

recent allstar

I'm so tired of hearing this.

The NBA's top 20 PGs consist of 16 Western, 4 Eastern.

Jrue is average at best out here, sorry guys

Wouldn't that make it more reason to have a top 20 point guard to keep up?

So you're solution would be to replace him with a d-leaguer? I know a few teams have fired their GM's lately, how have your interviews been going?

He's a more complete player than most of them. He's an ace defender and a leader.

Tony Parker is about to lead his team to back to back finals(and very possibly a 5th title)

Lilliard pretty much won a series for POR

Westbrook has been amazing at times

CP3 singlehandedly won games.

The Heat have Prime LBJ/Bosh/Wade so that's a terrible example.

And no jrue is untouchable and is a key cog.

Stop being butthurt over noel(who hasn't yet played a game)

wouldnt your argument lean more towards keeping Jrue in a conference where 16 of the NBAs top 20 PGs reside?

You are aware Chalmers plays with the best player in the world, right?

What a stupid example

Anybody who doesn't approve this trade clearly doesn't know what they are talking about. Yeah I don't want an All-Star caliber PG who's only 24 years old. I'd rather have an unproven center in Nerlens Noel who has huge knee issues, and a #10 pick who we have no idea if he will really pan out. Some of yall are crazy.

what sets Jrue apart along with only a few other players, imo, is the ability to have an impact defensively with his size/length at the PG position....and ya, that can be huge for a team D

1. Cp3
2. Steph
3. Parker
4. Westbrook
5. Wall
6. Bledsoe
7. Jrue

Every one above Jrue is their team franchise player other than Westbrook.
