I work for a company in Baton Rouge. The family that owns my company also owns 20 other companies in Louisiana. They want to start an association for all their stores and other like-minded owners.

Their attorney on retainer either does not know how to draw up the paperwork for an association or just hasn't after being asked to do so. My question is, does anybody have a recommendation for an attorney in Baton Rouge or Lake Charles that specializes in associations?

Thank you for any help. I apologize for the lack of details, I don't have them.

They know if we have to get somebody other than our current attorney to go it that it won't be cheap. We are prepared to pay for results.

Edwin Edwards.

He's a felon but he's expensive.

I am friends with the Edwards family. If I don't get a good rec from here, I'm calling them. Not Edwin, but relatives.

If you move the location requirements northward, I can help.

He will be expensive as hell....but it will be done right.

How far north?

I don't imagine we are going to shop for the cheapest price but if we can get what we want for X dollars, we don't want to pay 10X.

I'm going to take the names listed so far and run them by our current attorney for his opinions. I feel that everybody will happy then.

I would talk with Poodlebrain and get his rec.

Pay him for one hour consultation. He knows who could set up what you are looking for.
