But have fun hoping for three straight losses so your point can be proven about a player who will definitely not be on the 2018 squad.

Your butthurt is not as strong as VKC's, though. Or at least I don't think it is.

Who cares about the 2018 squad? There is a World Cup starting in 20 days.

I have always been consistent with this.

I do not know how I feel about everything else except I am furious at Jurgen and feel terrible for Landon.

I am glad for the 23 players that did make the team. However, this is clearly not the best team.

There is no doubt that my interest is currently tempered and I am beyond frustrated. I will not know how I will respond until the US plays in the WC.

Clearly you've been an international coach and have been at camp with the team.

What's the point of the USMNT failing without Donovan to you? It's not like Klinsmann or the next head coach will realize U.S. Soccer is doomed to fail without him and will call him in for another tournament.

Failing at the WC to make some point doesn't make sense because the point won't lead to anything but you being "right."

What are you talking about? Klinsmann is arrogant enough to think that his bullshite "statements" are enough to make the team advance. Of course his "statements" are basically the equivalent of bringing honor students from upper middle class families to a Scared straight prison intervention.

He is bringing a sub-optimal team to 2014. That sucks. That's my only point. Donovan is obviously not going to be a part of the squad in 2018.

2018 is a different cycle, and there's no reason to bring players along who are expected to be good in 2018 so they can gather splinters in 2014.

This is a terrible post. Possibly your worst. This is 2014.

He is being a smartass because I made some obviously over-reactionary statements.

I feel the same as Hendo and Keys do. I want our team to do as well as possible, but I hate this decision and I do hope Jurgen gets sacked, regardless of WC performance.

I get that firing Jurgen now makes no sense. After watching every minute of this qualifying cycle, I want our boys to do their best, but that is utter bullshite.

I would want to sack Jurgen if we won the whole thing. He is dead to me. Pretty simple concept.

You need to have a drink or something, bro. I get that it's a bit exaggerated because of the shock. This needs to happen, though. We need new stars to step up now just like we did in 2002 when Donovan hit the scene. It will all be okay.

Gotcha. Don't understand, but I gotcha.

Also, to Randy, I explained my reasoning. Wanting the USMNT fail over this roster decision has no real benefit except making the people who hate the move look smart.
