I agree, the game play videos they have shown seem to favor the hunters though. I want to see more monster types as well.

This is one of those games that seems to get exponentially more fun if you are playing with 4 friends.

I've been looking forward to Evolve for a while after I was listening to a podcast where a couple of the people got to play it at PAX east and couldn't stop talking about it.

Not at all. Natural Selection was more of a FPS/RTS hybrid. Evolve seems more like an advanced "evolution" of Left 4 Dead.

Cool that the new characters have different abilities within their designated role. It does seem like a good team of hunters will beat the monster fairly consistently, while a disorganized group (randoms) will lose almost every time. I can see this working against the game if people can't get good groups together to play.

Hopefully they've allowed this to be very tweak able from there end. Probably hard to find the right balance.
