There are community college style law schools?

I learned today that there exists unaccredited schools that require 48 hours in 4 years and allow you to sit the bar.
Is this for every state? I've never heard of such a thing existing in Louisiana.
A friend of mine in law school confessed to me today that she doesn't take a person seriously because he doesn't go to "real" law school. When she told me about the place, I had to agree with her. Who is going to hire someone that basically spent 4 years at bar firm?

Southern is not equivalent to even this. This is worse than Southern.

Yeah, but we all know the sad story about the legit law school employment numbers, how does this even compete in the job market?

The idea that people pay good money to attend unaccredited law schools is absolutely crazy to me.
You might as well light all your money on fire.

I think CA may actually allow them to sit.

Never be honest with your attorney, I just learned that the hard way. Now I have to find a new one by the end of the month.

Isn't passing the bar what really matters?
Obviously, I wouldn't be expecting the passage rate from these places to be too impressive but wouldn't passing the bar for that one in 10,000 type person count for something? Or would being too dumb initially to get into even a crap law school be perpetually held against him or her?

Most states have them. Generally, a graduate can sit for the bar in that state only. There are a couple in Alabama. One is terrible and has horrible bar passage rates. The other isn't great, but there are some respectable attorneys that went there.

yup, after 4 years of practicing you can practice in another state. So I've been told anyway.

I think it depends on reciprocity with another state. I believe you can apply for the bar after 5 years of practice. There are some other steps as well.
