LSU is hot right now.. I expect to see higher rankings, but know the competition has been weak.

Can't wait for the tourney!!

So both Kendall and tPOS have Cal Poly at #5. I don't understand it sometimes. Those 0 games played against the top 25 aren't really impressing me. And just 4-4 vs 26-50.

That is a serious red flag to me.

At least ULL has actually played 4 games against the top 25 and won 3 of them.

This makes no sense to me at all. No way you can honestly rank a team that has played absolutely no one all year ahead of team.s that have played top 50 competition all year. They may well be a good team and should get their shot ala Stony Brook did as a 4 seed but in no way should host just simply by running through a ridiculously weak schedule.

No offense to ULL, solid team deserving of its lofty ranking, but the lone victory wasn't even a full game.

I think they're obviously a good team, but they are extremely overrated.

Basically they wouldnt be as high up if they weren't out west. Oregon got a national seed last yr when they shouldnt have. Cal Poly's slide coming into this month will knock them out that but they will still host.

And probably just like Oregon they will be sitting at home soon enough.
