Going to spend 5 or so days hopping between Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Page, and then onto Zion NP and Bryce Canyon.

Never been to the area, have a general idea of our plans, but would appreciate any tips or "must do's" along the way.

Do the Grand Canyon on the North Rim. You can get cabins on the Rim if you book early enough for the North rim.

Find some doable hikes for your physical condition in Zion. That place is amazing.

I'm trying to burn through some Marriott points so there's one in Page and a few in St. George that we'll use for hotels when we are there.

I know we'll want to raft one day...sounds like we'll avoid Flagstaff since the North Rim is where we should see the Canyon from.

All of Bryce is awesome. Definitely do Angels Landing in Zion. You really can't go wrong around there, but if you get a chance, hop up to Kodachrome State Park...It's like a mini Bryce/Arches.

I must warn you though, if you don't know the differences between the South/North, you should research both to see which you prefer. You may enjoy stuff I do not and prefer the south. It's much more touristy on the south. North has more trees/brush. It's harder to see the river on the north as well. North could save you some travel time though in getting to Zion and such.

We hate crowds and tourist traps for our solo vacations.

You will probably enjoy the North more. It felt much more laid back at the Lodge. Worth the price if you can get a cabin/room.

Found some shots of North Rim, couldn't find my Zion stuff.
