Or is it a smokescreen?

I think it continues through July.

Well, to be fair, they're down 17 runs since last game.

Bats are getting hot. If they continue to hit like this they could make a run at the CWS.

LSU has 37 runs in the last 15 innings

LSU score 34 runs total in the 10 games prior to Tuesday.

Are we going to score 18 runs a game? Doubtful.

That's true, but I'll try and be optimistic and say hopefully they are hitting their stride at the right time.

Nothing but good can come from an offensive outburst like this, regardless of who the opponent is. Confidence and rhythm are so important. And Auburn's starter from tonight is good.

Add to that Mainieri's history in the SECT and NCAAT.

His teams have been very good in tournament formats.
