The US should offer to purchase extras for them.

How sad will Messi be that he can't get a stephen beitashour kit?

The other teams in their group must be devastated.

They should instead ask all the players to trade and Ebay them.

I'm half surprised they didn't blame the US or Isreal for not being able to afford extra kits. Also does anyone know how many they are supposed to have extra for if someone gets one bloody?
Update: 4. Each participating member association shall provide FIFA with exact samples
of the following equipment: (i) offi cial and reserve kits (two sets of shirts, shorts, socks); (ii) three sets of the goalkeeper’s kit (shirts, shorts, socks); (iii)

FIFA probably just pockets the salaries of the would-be Quality Control Department budget.

Wow, that sucks for the Iranians. I'd be okay with us buying a few extra kits for them.

i think this is my favorite part:
i'd buy a few of my own kits off of world soccer shop and trade away.

Reserve keeper Ali-Resa Haghighi has been quoted as saying his tracksuit in size XL shrank to medium after the first wash – but the federation president claims he washed it at the wrong water temperature. Haghighi, clearly, is a man who does not normally do his own laundry.

Sounds like a really shitty supplier more than anything else.

Yeah, you would think Uhlsport would be able to provide at least the 70-odd shirts required for Iran's three matches.
You also wonder what the Iranian FA's motivation for choosing a kit supplier only used by these esteemed clubs
Surely adidas or Puma would have paid more to make a generic kit like adidas does for Bosnia and Greece.
