My cousin catches them in the BC spillway regularly.
Irish Bayou may be worth a try.
Chef Pass/Marquez Canal has been producing for us.

I assume this area is pretty safe in broad daylight?
The BC Spillway would probably be most convenient I guess.

I went to PAC yesterday by the dam. It was slow.

Will the cheap ring nets work or should i invest in a couple box traps? I think they run like $15 - $20?

With the nets you are really crabbing. If you bring the box traps, you can spend your time fishing or drinking beer. Either way you can fill a hamper if they are running good.

Awesome. I might get a couple ring nets and a box trap, some raw chicken, and a cooler of beer.

I like to use these.
Not these.
