It's not the dog's fault. These stupid arse parents locked the pit bull in a bedroom with her puppies. The 4yr old opened the door. A lot of dogs would've attacked in that situation with puppies involved. These people are idiots.

A weiner dog could attack all day long. The consequences would be neosporine and bandaids.

The power of the animal is the issue. If a person isn't hog hunting or guarding a junk yard, they shouldn't have a pit bull

A Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Doberman, etc could've done the same thing. However, it seems a large portion of pit bull owners are irresponsible pet owners to begin with.

Rotts and German Shepherds bite harder than pits, should they be reserved for junk yards and hog hunting too?

I'm not doubting you because I really don't know. But do German Shepherds have the lock jaw of a pit? And do they attack kids at the rate pits seem to do?
I want one but I have three small kids that will try to ride him/her an pull ears and tail. I don't want to ever have to worry about the family pet.

Maybe so but a chihuahua wouldn't have broken an arm so, in that regard, it IS the dog.

Pits jaws don't really lock, that's a myth.

Don't trust the pit attack numbers because a lot of those attacks are by mutts that people say are pits.

Shepherds are very high energy dogs that can play rough, just be wary of any larger breed dog.

Bro, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

One thing.... There is a list of dogs that property/home insurers won't cover or charge higher premiums for. The list isn't based on emotion or scariness. The list is based on risk analysis. More powerful animals are more likely to cause serious and expensive damage.

Because I am basing my opinion on deeply researched statistical modeling and not my buddies, cousins dog.... I think my opinion may just mean frick all, after all.

But not necessarily the breed.
Any larger breed dog could have done the same.

Only people that have no idea what they're talking about think pitbulls have "lock jaw".

If a person isn't hunting or protecting their house, then they don't "need" a gun.

If a person doesn't haul things then they don't need a truck

If a person isn't in need of the food then they don't need to hunt or fish.

He'll come in, play the victim and then whine when he gets downvotes.

Sorry. What I should have said was, "biting a kid and won't release even though the mother of the kid is hitting the dog in the head with a shovel."
