I kinda of want the discussion to stay focused on players who are still slightly under the radar. Around 20% owned or less. Or pitchers that nobody trusts anymore, but they should trust.

Breakout player: I added Dallas Keuchel last week for a spot start and wasn't disappointed. So I started him again tonight,... he spun a complete game shutout over the Rangers. 7K/0BB. With the Astros or not. He owns a 3.06 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 47/11 K/BB ratio in 53 innings.

Rookies: I like Roenis Elias a lot. Era and WHIP are rock solid. 42/20 K/BB in 46 innings.

***Rookie flyer to stream for tmrw/with possible upside. Rafael Montero. Has a mean mound presence with electric stuff, accurate mid-90's fastball with a nasty slider. The subway series, is a tough stage for an mlb debut, so I'm hoping he has ice in his veins.

Have Keuchel and Elias in one league... both have been very good, but Keuchel has been especially impressive. Apparently his sinker is the stuff of legends.

Pomeranz looks great so far in Oakland.

Ian Kennedy is looking like he will have a bounce back year.

Do you guys think Keuchel can keep this up?

I haven't seen him pitch, but my cousin the Astros fan says the same shite.

Sure does. I missed out on adding him when I had the chance.

Absolutely. Like Boo just mentioned, his stuff is legit. Everything I've read and heard about him tells me he is gonna be a great pitcher.

Beurhle has been dropped and added just about every week so far in my league, but of course the week I streamed him, it was his only dud of the season so far. I love seeing the old veterans find a way to get it done.

I have Beckett and he has exceeded my expectations so far. He pitched a beauty last night!!

Me either, but a friend of mine writes for the Astros, he's a big sabermetrics guy and he thinks that Keuchel is legit and not just lucky.

I picked up Keuchel on a whim a few weeks back. He's helped my pitching staff tremendously.

I added Jake Odorizzi for his start tonight..hes up and down but he had 11 strikeouts in his last outing. He's only 24 and they say he could be a star so we'll see how he does tonight.

I also am very excited to see what Kevin Gausman does tonight for Baltimore. They called him up yesterday to pitch tonight. No one knows if its a spot start or if this is his chance to stick around. He was the #4 (i think) overall pick in 2012 and he has electric stuff as well…pulling for him to do well.

He's been good. Not striking anyone out though.

They've had Gausman on a strict pitch count in the minors in order to save him for the Bigs down the stretch. So yeah, this may be a spot start. The O's need some pitching help, so if he performs tonight he's likely gonna stay in the rotation for now.

Keuchel and Beckket were huge last night for us amirite! I also had Estrada pitching (who is having a bounce back year) so it was a good day of pitching for me.

I picked up Tepesch vs the Astros tonight, he is filling in for Perez.

I started him a few times last year as a rookie. The kid can flat out pitch. He can be streaky, but has had a great start in the minors.

has anyone started Chris Young's old arse in Seattle?

every week I keep saying I'm gonna stream him, but I chicken out in fear of his eventual crash back to mediocrity... but the son of a bitch keeps plugging away. I get so pissed.

my league has a maximum of 4 drop/adds per week and I used all 4 already. Otherwise I would definitely consider starting him friday. Its a good matchup at Target field vs Gibson, who is throwing meatballs right now.

I drafted Cueto in the 22nd round. Seems to be paying out so far.

Were there only 6 teams or something?

No, 12 teams with 8 keepers (1st 8 rounds) and he was coming off an injury so he fell in the draft.
