Something I just read in Golf Magazine and did not realize about the Master

According to Johnny Miller "3 coolest things about the going to the Masters", only players and caddies are allowed inside the ropes. All the years watching the tourney, I did not realize this.

It's cheap. Food and drinks.

That is my reasoning posting. They don't allow anyone inside the player and caddies? I am sure an official on occasion for a ruling?

how else are they getting yardages to the flag on air?

Player hits a tee shot, cbs guy walks out to get a yardage then call it up to the tv tower. How was phils shot behind the tree filmed without TV people inside the ropes?
