2 weeks ago Opie and Anthony started a 10 day clock to see if we could go without a forced apology in america.
So far we haven't gotten past 1 day and most days have multiple.
They are all insincere but it feeds Americas lust for some good groveling.
The wrestler death clock was set at 90 days(90 days without a wrestler dying) and that took 3 1/2 years to finally achieve. The apology clock may go on Forever.
Highest number will get is 2 days

What I don't understand is, what's the point of even forcing someone to do this? Most people will (or should) recognize that it's ONLY being done out of being forced, so at what point is it just so overdone that it loses all it's meaning?

not only that, but the offended party pretty much always says an apology is not enough

On Friday someone apologized even saying he didn't see the reason too.... it was accepted. People just need o hear sorry...meaning means nothing

Because in the end no on in America legitimately cares. They have fake outrage, so a fake apology forces them to move on.

Fake outrage, followed by fake apology, leads to fake acceptance. And the circle continues.

If you ever want to feel above society, at least on this issue...its impossible not to be a fan of the show. Really makes you hate people who want people in trouble.
During sterling deal and the atl host getting fired for Gleason jokes deal I was on here way too much: lol:
I like people who want n apology from a show that they don't even watch/listen to. They just saw a blurb on it and didn't take or hear any context or statement

MIAMI -- Miami Dolphins safety Don Jones was fined an undisclosed amount Sunday and will undergo educational training after sending a negative tweet about Michael Sam, the first openly gay player to be selected in the NFL draft.
Shortly after the St. Louis Rams took Sam in the seventh round Saturday, Jones tweeted "OMG" and "Horrible." The tweets were taken down a short time later.
Jones apologized for his comments Sunday and described them as inappropriate.

Michael Sam never knows about that tweet unless its gets in the news... so we are protecting Sam from something he never would have saw

Which is absolutely ridiculous. HE also had his twitter disabled until he undergoes sensitivity training and some sort of twitter etiquette course.

What I don't understand is, what's the point of even forcing someone to do this?
Because it's expected.
I remember from being a little kid getting into arguments etc and someone tell me I need to apologize.
I'd explain frick no I am not apologizing, it wasn't an accident I wouldn't have said done it if I didn't purposely mean to.
People don't want to hear that though.
ETA: Perfect example in high school. Our teacher comes in with a somber look and starts to talk to our 12th grade class. Apparently two of the girls in our class had gotten into some sort of argument and one had filled the other's water bottle with water out of the girls toilet.
The girl whom had received this act was kind of a bitch, and it was pretty hilarious.
Upon hearing the news, I laughed. The teacher wasn't as amused, and told me I needed to apologize. I explained, no. He wasn't a fan.

He's incredibly stupid as a person though. I could care less about the comments he made. He plays for the Dolphins though, the smear mark of the NFL currently. Does he not think there would be no consequences mainly because of the position that team is in with the bullying shite earlier this year.

Who gives a flying fck about what celebrities have to say? Apology or not, find something better to worry about.
