I think not.

The SEC will get 4 hosts, IMO:

Florida (lock)
Ole Miss (lock)
Vandy (late win vs. Florida + RPI)
USC (RPI)

Why wouldn't 5 sec teams possibly host?

This thread is stupid.

No, but the season does not end today. Take care of business at home, take a couple from Auburn, win one or two in Hoover and - yes. I wouldn't even say its an outside shot, I almost expect it

That's stupid, all 5 deserve to host at this point.

Is "IMO" a difficult concept for you? Many people think the SEC only gets 4.

RPI and Rankings say Yes...but if not, #2 at the UL-L Hot Peppers regional.

no and thankfully the season doesn't end today.

hosting for us will come down to the SEC tourney. Don't two and a BBQ and we have a good chance to host.

Not really. They put us on the edge. Which is why we have this discussion

Actually hosting comes down to this weekend first. Have to win 2/3

5 SEC teams hosting is not uncommon, especially when they deserve it

even if we win this series this weekend which I think we do, we won't have a high enough RPI to be a lock to host even with a sweep of Auburn.

Here is the issue

3 high RPI teams from the SEC

Florida
Vandy
Ole Miss

3 10-20 RPI teams from the SEC
LSU
USCe
Kentucky (you can count them out because of their SEC finish)

So it is very likely that Lsu and USCe will both go into the SECt with a ? on a host. Who ever has the better showing in the SECt will host, the other will be left out.
